Hi there, hope you are doing well!
Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Sangeet, and I am a product manager by profession.
Despite not being a professional web scraper, I do have over 5 years of experience in this field during which I have scraped 200+ websites using BeautifulSoup / Selenium (Python libraries). I am also well-versed with other automations such as sending an image or a message on WhatsApp, uploading data in a Google spreadsheet, and much more.
Here is a list of 5 major projects that I have worked on -
1. Scraping all of the courses' data points from over 20 course providers.
2. Scraping live prices of hotels from different booking channels, and sending a Slack notification whenever the prices do not match.
3. Scraping and storing analytics data from GoogleMyBusiness and other business tools for further analysis.

What I build
I specialise in AI-powered product builds: systems that use LLMs (Claude, GPT-4, OpenAI Responses) to automate complex workflows, match and rank data, extract structured information, or augment what a human team can do in a day.
In the last year, I've shipped 11 production systems as the sole engineer at EffiFlo - a recruitment intelligence startup - including:
- A 7-stage autonomous sourcing agent (Jarvis) that turns a job description into a ranked candidate shortlist, with a hosted MCP server so recruiters can drive the entire pipeline from a chat interface without touching the UI.
- A candidate-to-firm matching engine (Merittas) with 6-dimension transparent scoring and SSE real-time streaming. It reduced a process that previously took 2 days per candidate to under 3 minutes - and generated $30K for the client in its first month.
- A multi-vendor contact enrichment pipeline (SalesQL → ContactOut → Reoon) that doesn't fail when any single provider goes down, with bidirectional Clay webhook delivery.
Before the engineering work, I spent 6 years as a product manager and analytics lead at growth-stage startups - OYO (15,000+ hotel properties, 7 countries), a real estate marketplace that hit 3,000 members in 4 months and closed its pre-Seed round, and Cube Asia (founding team, Head of Analytics, built the MeterCube analytics platform for enterprise e-commerce brands in Southeast Asia).
That background matters because it means I understand what makes a product worth building - and I'll tell you when the spec needs rethinking, not just when the build is done.

I take on a small number of projects at a time and own them end-to-end. My default is async communication with structured updates, so you're never chasing me for a status - you'll know where things stand. For anything non-trivial, I scope the work in writing before touching code, so we're aligned on what "done" looks like before we start.

Analyzing the website's structure
This is a crucial step in deciding which Python library will be used to scrape the data, and how much time will it take to capture all the data points.
First round of coding + sharing a test file
In the first round of coding, I will focus on taking out most of the data points (as per clients' requirements) for a subset of all the webpages, followed by storing it in an excel and sharing it with the client for review.
