Hi there, hope you are doing well!
Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Sangeet, and I am a product manager by profession.
Despite not being a professional web scraper, I do have over 5 years of experience in this field during which I have scraped 200+ websites using BeautifulSoup / Selenium (Python libraries). I am also well-versed with other automations such as sending an image or a message on WhatsApp, uploading data in a Google spreadsheet, and much more.
Here is a list of 5 major projects that I have worked on -
1. Scraping all of the courses' data points from over 20 course providers.
2. Scraping live prices of hotels from different booking channels, and sending a Slack notification whenever the prices do not match.
3. Scraping and storing analytics data from GoogleMyBusiness and other business tools for further analysis.
4. Automating sending text + image messages on WhatsApp
5. Scraping product reviews from different websites & analysing different nature of problems in a product category

Analyzing the website's structure
This is a crucial step in deciding which Python library will be used to scrape the data, and how much time will it take to capture all the data points.
First round of coding + sharing a test file
In the first round of coding, I will focus on taking out most of the data points (as per clients' requirements) for a subset of all the webpages, followed by storing it in an excel and sharing it with the client for review.
