Senior AI Product Engineer - One Week Sprint
Talha is an outstanding AI product engineer. Over a focused one-week sprint he delivered exactly what we needed, fast, clean, and genuinely production-minded. He understood the goals immediately, took full ownership of the technical work, communicated clearly throughout, and was a real pleasure to work with. He thinks like a product partner rather than just a coder, and the quality he shipped in such a short time was impressive. Communication was prompt, the work was solid, and he made the whole process smooth. I'd hire him again without hesitation and highly recommend him for any AI or full-stack product work.Talha is an outstanding AI product engineer. Full Stack Product Engineer for MVP
We've worked with Talha for a while over multiple contracts. He always delivers what we need. When given a project, he always explains the different options we have for achieving the goal, with the pros and cons of each choice.

Js coding tutor
Talha was reliable, communicative, and professional throughout the engagement. He understood the requirements clearly, delivered quality work, and followed through on the tasks we discussed. He was easy to collaborate with, proactive in solving problems, and showed strong ownership of the work. I would be happy to work with him again.

Senior Next.js / Supabase Developer for MVP Polish, Stability, and Long Term Ownership
The senior freelancer was hired for a senior project role after the responsibilities, expectations, and project area were clearly discussed before the contract began. Early work was completed quickly and appeared to be going well. Based on the senior freelancer’s referrals, we also brought on two additional developers to help with the backlog and specialized agentic workflow work.
Issues began after that. The senior freelancer repeatedly pushed to be paid separately to manage the other developers and appeared to be trying to turn the engagement into the start of their own development agency. Once that was not pursued, their output noticeably declined compared to the first few weeks. There were also multiple instances where they agreed to review or complete certain work but did not follow through.
It was found that the senior freelancer did not have the in depth Ai knowledge as they led us to believe but looking past that we invested heavily in helping the senior freelancer succeed in this role. This included multiple training sessions on areas they were less familiar with, as well as paid advanced classes intended to improve their ability to fulfill the position they had accepted. Despite that support, reliability and follow-through in those areas became an issue. The senior freelancer would not look into code basis around those skills even after stating that they would.
One of the referred developers was later removed after performance issues and deleted work chats. We also discovered through timesheets that the senior freelancer was applying for other contracts while billing our project time. Based on that, we determined the senior freelancer had enough available time to handle the remaining workload without the second developer, and that developer was also released.
During a critical project week, the senior freelancer abruptly took a two-day leadership retreat related to their faith classes. After returning a day later than they expected with no pre warning, citing inclement weather they were slow to respond and then stated they needed to step away from the project because the project area conflicted with their faith. The concern is not their personal beliefs. The issue is that this was disclosed only after two full months of onboarding, training, coordination, and hiring other developers under their referral, despite the finance and insurance nature of the project being clear from the beginning.
Upon further investigation the senior freelancer left their Git account logged in on one of our virtual machines where it was noticed during the time they said they where at a retreat and dealing with weather they where actively making commits on other projects. This was during high critical days where server work had set the owner back who was making daily updates to our work logs the senior freelancer ignored.
The overall timeline showed a pattern of reduced output, lack of transparency, poor follow-through, and careless decision-making once more of the original senior role responsibilities were placed back on the senior freelancer. This created serious issues for the project and put the owner in a difficult position at a critical time.
I would not recommend this freelancer for senior, critical, or high-trust project roles where reliability, transparency, and ownership are required.
