Looking to build a real-time transit tracking application like MuniBuddy? I specialize in developing responsive, full-stack web apps that integrate real-time public transit data using technologies like React (Vite), FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Redis. This project was developed as part of my advanced web development training at City College of San Francisco, with a strong emphasis on user-friendly design, clean code, and system reliability.
MuniBuddy leverages 511.org’s SIRI API and Google Maps to track BART and Muni vehicles live, display arrival predictions at nearby stops, and deliver a smooth user experience across desktop and mobile. I built the backend from scratch, designed the frontend with custom UI, and deployed everything via Docker and CI/CD pipelines on DigitalOcean.

Set up environment and integrate data
I will configure the backend (FastAPI/PostgreSQL) and integrate your public transit data (SIRI, GTFS, or custom feed). This includes setting up the server, routes, and preparing the app for real-time predictions.
