Project details
▪ Hands-on experience in Cassandra development of distributed, fault-tolerant, extremely fast, linearly scalable, and low-cost features of high-caliber core components of the rapidly expanding cloud computing and mission-critical data systems
▪ Hands-on experience in Cassandra administration - designing for consistency, knowledge on load distribution and replication configuration
▪ Monitoring of all Cassandra services that are on-prem and/or in public cloud environments and associated data stores.
▪ Creating and maintenance Cassandra Run Books
▪ Supporting all infrastructure and Cassandra Platform Upgrades and Patching activity
▪ Supporting all DR/BCP testing with Cassandra Platform
▪ Utilize monitoring tools and respond to alerts and dashboards to proactively Identify and resolve Cassandra issues before the business is impacted
▪ Work with the Platform engineering team to resolve problems and implement new Cassandra functions
▪ Monitoring and evaluating Cassandra services and application consumption models
▪ Write simple/complex queries to investigate the data related issues
▪ Use Cassandra administrative tools to configure the environment
