I have a track record of running huge websites on limited hardware. To bring things into context, I once encountered a query that was taking 1 minute, and I brought it down to like 0.21s. It was a query based on a computer vision algorithm and was supposed to be time taking.

In another project, there was a wordpress website that was only serving 800 simultaneous visitors and then it will crash, It was a 64GB 24 core server, I made it serve 4500 simultaneous visitors on an 8GB 24 core server. And no, it did not use any caching services or varnish or stuff like that.
