DevOps: Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS, bare metal RKE2 with Rancher), ECS Fargate, Terraform for everything, CI/CD with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD, monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana, and compliance hardening for HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and NIST 800-53.
Web: SaaS products, admin portals, dashboards, REST and GraphQL APIs, multi tenant backends with PostgreSQL and row level security, Stripe billing, OAuth and SSO, background jobs, and the deployment pipeline that ships them.
RECENT PROJECTS
Built a multi tenant SaaS platform end to end: FastAPI and PostgreSQL backend with row level security for tenant isolation, React front end, Stripe subscriptions, and a rules engine for the core workflow. Deployed on AWS with Terraform and GitHub Actions. One engineer, app and infra.
Built an on prem RKE2 Kubernetes cluster from scratch for a company preparing for SOC 2 and HIPAA. Rancher for management, Cilium with WireGuard for encrypted pod traffic, GPU nodes for ML workloads, Longhorn for storage, Velero for backups, ArgoCD for deployments. Enforced SSO through Entra ID on every cluster and SSH access point because their auditors required it.
Modernized AWS infrastructure for a holding group running four web apps. Moved the backends to ECS Fargate and Aurora Multi AZ, front ends to Amplify behind CloudFront, and set up blue green deployments. Midway through we found a breach in their GitHub org and I handled the full remediation across 42 repos.
Took a healthcare data platform through HIPAA hardening on AWS. ECS Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, private subnets, TLS everywhere, proper secrets handling. Phase one was making it work, phase two was making it pass an audit. Different skill sets, and I do both.
Fixed a production Aurora MySQL performance problem that had a web app timing out at peak. Root cause was tmp table spill to disk. Tuned it, added a reader instance, zero downtime.
Built internal tooling in Next.js on Vercel for subscription and cloud cost tracking, pulling from billing APIs into a single dashboard.
