You will get Scalable Web App Engineer
Rising Talent

Project details
I’m a Senior Full-Stack Developer specializing in React, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails. I help startups and teams ship production ready features, fix bugs fast, and build clean, scalable web apps without cutting corners.
Whether you need a quick fix, a new feature built end-to-end, or a full module delivered, I’ll jump into your existing codebase, move quickly, and keep everything maintainable. You’ll get clear communication, clean PRs, and work that’s tested and easy to extend.
Typical work includes: UI builds, API development, performance improvements, third-party integrations, and deployment support. If you have designs (Figma is ideal), I can match them precisely. If not, I can help you get to a clean, usable solution that looks professional and works on every screen size.
If you want someone who can own the work and ship it right the first time, let’s get started.

Senior MERN Developer Wanted — Help with my passion project
Very capable developer. In 92:20 hours, he added a lot to an already large existing codebase:
- Prevented users from responding to outdated points, and added a snackbar to display messages to users when they did
- Fixed issue with unbookmarking a debate
- Added pagination to debate lists requiring refactoring the list hooks
- Reworked Navbar/Navigation menu
- Added ability to re-order points within a tree, by dragging and dropping
- Created a user profile page and the ability to view and edit your profile
- Added websockets so that you can debate in real time
- Improved UI by updating which debate in a list is active, while scrolling.
- Restructured backend a little
- Added lots of unit tests - previously had 0 tests.
- Created users list to let users browse, search, and follow other users
- Allowed adding non-registered users to a debate through e-mail
That said, do I generally question my decision to hire a developer when I myself am a developer? Yes. Now that most developers use AI, myself included, it is odd to have a human middle-man, and instead of reviewing an agent's code directly, I am often reviewing AI code indirectly. It's very hard to measure the value added by having another human in the mix. I was disappointed that our schedules didn't happen to align well, but overall pleased with how much he accomplished in the last month or so, which I will say was significantly more than trying to make time for this project on my own.
