Project details
I’ll write clean, well structured SQL queries to help you extract meaningful answers to your analysis questions (e.g. revenue by region, churn by month, or customer behaviour trends). I work with PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar. This service includes:
• Writing SQL queries tailored to your business questions.
• Support for multi-table joins, filtering, grouping, aggregation and window functions (as needed).
• Clean, well-commented SQL scripts that can be reused or integrated into your reports.
• Query outputs exported as CSV or Excel upon request.
Deliverables Include
• SQL Scripts (with comments)
• Query Results Exported (CSV or Excel as requested)
Clients Must Provide
• A Schema Reference (including table names, column names with data types, and relationships), OR the relevant tables exported in CSV or Excel format.
• 3-5 Analysis Questions (e.g. “Which product category had the highest return rate in 2023?”). If unsure, a Question Framing add-on is available, where I identify the questions based on the project goal, business context and the dataset.

Become Familiar with Project
In this stage, I review the project goal, business context, dataset, and analysis questions to ensure meaningful SQL queries are produced. If you selected the Question Framing & Analysis Design add-on, this is the stage I would generate them.
Query for Each Analysis Question
Queries are formed to address each analysis question provided (or created). They will be commented on appropriately to explain the logic.
