If you are obtaining your own certificate from a Certificate Authority (CA) don't forget to save your private key.
The CA does not have the private key, they simply sign the certificate generated from your private key.
Both Certificate and Private key files will be needed when installing the SSL certificate on the server.
OR simply let me handle the Certificate issuing process with Let's Encrypt.
The only drawback with Let's Encrypt certificates is that they are valid for 3 months.
Fortunately, Let's Encrypt Certificates can be auto-renewed with a cronjob.
This requires an additional tool called 'certbot' to be installed on the server.
Certbot is available for most common Linux distributions.
