Backends usually go wrong in one of two ways. Either the schema was invented while building and now nothing can change, or security was left until the end and every user can read every row.
I build Supabase backends: a schema designed around what your app actually does, authentication, row-level security, file storage, API endpoints, and your front end connected and tested against it.
How I work: security policies get built at the same time as the tables, not bolted on afterwards. Then I test as each user type and deliberately try to reach rows that user should not see, because a policy nobody has tried to break is a policy nobody knows works.
Everything lives in your own Supabase account, with versioned migrations so future changes do not mean guesswork.
I work across React, Next.js and Flutter front ends, so the connection gets set up and proven rather than left as your problem.
