Hybrid Android and iOS app (React Native) Farjad has been incredible to work with. He has been with us for over 4 years and will continue with us. The only reason I am ending the contract is because we have brought on new ownership in the company and we need to start a new contract tied to them. Farjad is the best dev help I've ever used. He is quick to respond and solve problems, he makes sure that things work before he launches them, and he is just overall a very pleasant person. Job extremely well done.

PHP Developer with Wordpress+Woocommerce experience Farjad worked with us on a Wordpress/Woocommerce focused project for a little less than a year and he was a pleasure to work with. I can attest that he is flexible and accommodating and he has a strong work ethic. Up front I told him that I would need him to be available for meetings and to chat during US business hours and he more than delivered on his promise, it was very easy to have synchronous and asynchronous communications with him. He gives good estimates and finishes his work in reasonable timeframes, and when he gets stuck he is good at communicating and working collaboratively to get through the issue.

In terms of technical skills, Farjad has been a great asset to our team. He has frontend Javascript skills but I utilized him primarily as a backend-focused dev. He is strong with PHP (including Laravel) and Javascript (including NodeJS). When he started this project he had some previous experience with Wordpress development, and since then he has increased his WP skillset, now he can do basically anything in Worpdress, especially if it is a backend-focused functionality. He has built a couple of custom plugins and done a lot of maintenance on our custom Woocommerce theme. Most of his frontend work with this project involved raw Javascript and Jquery, but I know he also has experience with React. Farjad has also helped build a new NodeJS codebase, building out an API project which acted as an integration between our Woocommerce and new warehousing system. I consider Farjad a full stack developer, although I would say that he is a bit weaker with CSS when compared to his skill level with Javascript and PHP.

This project was perhaps a little different from many Upwork projects in that Farjad was expected to deliver high quality code via a Github Pull Requests, and he was asked to modify his code until he got approval. I reviewed all of his code and it was good quality, and when something needed to be addressed he quickly addressed it with a good attitude. He also was expected to communicate directly with our internal customers at times and give demos of his completed work, and he did this well.

I'm very pleased we hired Farjad, and I would work with him again!
