You will get your Laravel app bugs found, fixed and explained

Project details
Your Laravel app is throwing errors, breaking after an update, or behaving unexpectedly? I fix Laravel bugs and get your application working again—not just explain the problem.
With 4 years of production Laravel experience across versions 8–13, I’ve worked on existing codebases and taken over projects left behind by other developers.
**HOW I WORK**
I reproduce the issue before making changes. Once confirmed, I find the root cause instead of patching symptoms, implement the fix, test affected functionality, and explain what went wrong in plain language.
**WHAT I FIX**
• 500 errors and white screens
• Laravel/package update issues
• Database and Eloquent errors
• API failures or incorrect responses
• Authentication and session issues
• Queue and job failures
• Validation and file upload problems
• Third-party integration breakages
**WHAT YOU GET**
A working fix, root-cause explanation, regression checks across affected features, and a written report.
**WHAT I NEED**
Repository access (or a zip), the error message or issue description, and reproduction steps if available.
Not sure how big the problem is? Message me first. I’ll assess it honestly and recommend the right approach.

About Darshan
Laravel Backend Developer | REST APIs, Laravel Upgrades, Vue.js
Ahmedabad, India - 2:52 pm local time
4 years of professional work, including two complete client systems I designed, built and deployed on my own.
WHAT I DO
- REST API design and development — clean endpoints, token authentication, sensible payloads, real error handling, and documentation your frontend team can actually work from
- Laravel version upgrades — Laravel 8 to 12 to 13 on live applications, without breaking what already works
- Performance work — I find the N+1 queries, fix the Eloquent relationships, add eager loading and indexes, and make the slow page fast
- Complete systems built end to end — database schema, backend, frontend, deployment. Two of the projects below I delivered start to finish with no technical lead above me
- Third-party API integrations — payments, shipping, CRMs, anything with docs
- Queue and job pipelines with Laravel Horizon for email, reports, exports and syncs that shouldn't block a request
- Custom Artisan commands to automate the repetitive workflows your team is doing by hand
- Bug fixing and refactoring on inherited Laravel codebases
TECH
Backend: PHP · Laravel 8–13 · REST APIs · Eloquent ORM · MySQL · Python · Django
Frontend: Vue.js · React · Next.js · Blade · TypeScript · JavaScript
Tools: Git · Composer · Postman · Laravel Horizon · Linux/CLI · Deployment
WHAT I'VE BUILT
An employee management platform — a private desktop workspace replacing a team's scattered tools with one system for tasks, files and chat, all behind multi-role access control. Laravel backend, Next.js frontend. Delivered end to end.
A multi-gate visitor security system — entries and exits logged at each gate, visitor records in a searchable database, passes generated on the spot, multiple gates running off a single deployment. Laravel and React.
A legacy application migrated to Laravel 12 and then 13, restructured around an API-first architecture so new integrations stopped requiring surgery on the monolith. Designed the authenticated REST endpoints and cut redundant database queries by fixing Eloquent relationships and eager loading.
A production Laravel 8 + Vue.js application I took over mid-life — worked through the outstanding bugs, stabilised the backend logic, and shipped new features and third-party integrations on top of a live system with real users.
HOW I WORK
I ask questions before I write code. If the brief is vague I'll tell you what I think you actually need, and if the approach you're asking for will cause problems in six months, I'll say so before we start rather than after.
You get daily progress updates, code pushed to your repo so you can watch the work happen, and documentation on anything I build. No disappearing, no surprise scope changes.
Because I've delivered complete systems solo, I'm equally useful whether you have a technical team I'm slotting into or you're a founder who needs someone to own the whole thing.
I'm new to Upwork specifically, so my rate is well below what this experience normally costs. That's deliberate — I want a handful of great reviews more than a high first invoice. You get the benefit while it lasts.
If you have a Laravel project that needs building, upgrading, or rescuing, send me the details and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right fit.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Darshan can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Darshan receives requirements from you.
Darshan works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Review and reproduce
I set up your codebase and reproduce the bug myself. Nothing gets changed until I can trigger it on demand — fixing what I can't reproduce is guesswork.
Diagnose the root cause
I trace the bug to its actual source rather than the place it surfaces. This is where most of the time goes, and it's what stops the same problem returning in a different form later.
