React Native Expert Needed to Fix Invoice Stats Dashboard Data Issues
Working with Ufuoma on our Invoice Processor project was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We came in with a serious data crisis — over 13,000 invoice PDF records were broken or missing across five months of data in our Airtable system, and our Google Drive sync pipeline had completely failed. Ufuoma not only resolved every issue but delivered far beyond what was scoped.From a technical standpoint, the depth of expertise on display was impressive. He architected a full data recovery pipeline using Node.js scripts that interfaced directly with Airtable's REST API, identified and repaired over 55,000 records across January through May, and handled complex edge cases like broken HTML stubs, duplicate records, and attachment array corruption. When our local IP was throttled by Google Drive's rate limiter, he engineered a Vercel proxy workaround that routed PDF fetches through our deployed app to bypass the restriction entirely — a creative and highly effective solution.He then went further and replaced the fragile HTML-scraping approach with a proper Google Drive API integration using a Google Cloud service account, which eliminated throttling entirely and reduced PDF fetch times from 55–60 seconds down to under 2 seconds. He configured the service account credentials securely as encrypted environment variables in Vercel, ensuring production deployments are clean and credential-safe.On the frontend, he made several high-impact improvements to our React application deployed on Vercel — including fixing the SyncPanel to only scan the currently selected month instead of all months, implementing a time-based cache TTL so Airtable data is served from localStorage for 5 minutes before re-fetching, scaling the post-sync verification wait dynamically with batch size to eliminate false failure warnings, and wiring the Google Drive API directly into the Vercel serverless API routes so both the CLI scripts and the web app now use the same fast, authenticated pipeline.What stood out most was his communication style. Every decision was explained clearly — whether it was why we shouldn't bump concurrency above 7 to avoid re-triggering Drive throttling, why we should stick with Google Drive instead of migrating to AWS S3 or Cloudflare R2, or what the difference was between records that could be auto-recovered versus ones that needed manual client attention. He never just executed blindly — he reasoned through every tradeoff out loud and made sure we understood the implications before proceeding.He is highly reliable, consistently delivering on commitments even when working through a multi-hour data recovery job with over 3,800 records repairing simultaneously.
