Getting an app onto a server is the easy part. Keeping it there is what people underestimate. The process dies overnight and nobody notices until morning. The SSL certificate expires ninety days in and every visitor sees a security warning. The server reboots after an update and nothing comes back up.
I configure servers so none of that happens. Nginx as a reverse proxy in front of your app, PM2 keeping the process alive and restarting it on crash or reboot, free SSL through Certbot that renews itself, firewall rules closing everything you are not using, and your domain pointed correctly.
I do this weekly on my own infrastructure, running production apps for clients across several countries. Ubuntu, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and the usual supporting pieces.
You get a working server, a short handover document covering how to deploy updates and where to find the logs, and answers to your questions afterwards rather than a silent handoff.

I set up the operating system, users, and firewall rules, closing everything not in use and leaving only what your app actually needs open.
Deploy the app
I install the runtime and dependencies, get your app running under PM2 so it restarts on crash and survives a reboot, and set up the database if one is needed.
