Communication throughout the project was good — responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. However, the role was pitched around translating brand feel and mission into a high-converting website design, and that's where the gap showed. Execution had recurring issues with font choices, layout consistency, and sizing, and there was noticeable difficulty working with core Shopify features/theme customisation. The creative/strategic side that was central to the pitch didn't come through in the final work. Pleasant to work with, but not the right fit for a brand-led, conversion-focused design project.
