Himanshi did complete the website build and some SEO-related work, so I do not feel a 1-star review would be fully accurate. However, my overall experience was disappointing, and I would not hire her again.
The main issues were project speed, lack of clarity around deliverables, and billing transparency. The work took much longer than expected, and I repeatedly had to ask for more specific documentation of what had actually been completed. Communication was polite, but I often felt I had to push to get clear answers, detailed reporting, and forward momentum.
The biggest concern was hourly billing. I became uncomfortable with the lack of clear tracking and the amount of time billed relative to the visible progress. I ultimately disputed part of the billed time through Upwork and the dispute was resolved in my favor.
She did do some real work, which is why I am not leaving the lowest possible rating. But based on my experience, I would advise other clients to define scope very tightly, require detailed written deliverables from the beginning, and monitor hourly billing very closely.
