I provide independent inter-coder reliability (ICR) testing for qualitative research: interview transcripts, focus groups, open-ended survey responses, and content analysis datasets. I act as your second coder (or audit your existing double-coded data), calculate the appropriate reliability statistic(s), flag disagreements, and deliver a clear, defensible report you can drop straight into your methods section, dissertation, or publication.
I work directly from your transcripts and codebook in Excel/Word/PDF, so you don't need an NVivo license for this to work.
What I check and calculate (as applicable to your project):
Percent agreement (raw observed agreement)
Cohen's Kappa (two coders, nominal codes)
Krippendorff's Alpha (2+ coders, missing data, mixed measurement levels)
Gwet's AC1 (recommended when codes are unevenly distributed — avoids the "kappa paradox")
Per-code and overall reliability breakdown, benchmarked against standard interpretation scales (e.g., Landis & Koch)

Citations - create bibliography using Chicago style
Peter was great, very professional and completed the task in the allocated time. I wanted some legal citations and reports in Chicago style which did not end up in exactly the correct Chicago style but I would still recommend Peter as overall he did a great job.
