I work with coaches, course creators, e-commerce stores, B2B service businesses, agencies, and publishers to build email marketing systems that actually run on their own, without the half-finished automations and broken funnels most setups get stuck with.
Most business owners I work with have the tools already. An ActiveCampaign account with three automations that were never finished. A GoHighLevel build that cost money to set up and hasn't been touched since. A Klaviyo flow that fires twice or not at all. Leads coming in through ads or organic traffic and no real system on the other end to catch them.
That's the gap I fill.
A lot of freelancers do email marketing as one part of a broader offering. For me it's the whole thing. Strategy, platform setup, sequences, CRM configuration, funnel logic, integrations, deliverability, ongoing management. If it sits between your business and your customers and it's supposed to run automatically, that's my territory.
On lifecycle and full builds. A leadership coach came to me with 3,000 contacts and a Kartra setup that wasn't working. I migrated everything to Drip, built the email funnel for his Teachable course, and grew his list past 8,000. The funnel got 5 sales on day one it went live. For an e-commerce fashion brand I wrote and designed a 37-email customer journey in Mailchimp covering welcome, abandoned cart, anniversary, seasonal, and win-back, all mapped out as a complete lifecycle. A real estate client needed a full GoHighLevel build covering buyer and seller lead generation, automated booking, missed call follow-up, Facebook ad funnels, and internal alerts for their agents. Built it from the ground up.
On segmentation and tag architecture. A B2B service business needed a Typeform-to-Kit quiz funnel routing subscribers into ten different behavioural outcomes. I built the tag architecture and the email sequences that fired off each outcome, so every quiz-taker received a sequence matched to their actual answers.
On platform migrations. Moving a business from one tool to another without breaking what's already working is a regular part of what I do. I've handled ActiveCampaign to Brevo migrations, HubSpot to ActiveCampaign with Salesforce integration, Intercom to Customer io, Kartra to Drip, and Zoho to MailerLite. Full contact data transfer, segmentation rebuild, automation rebuild on the new platform, and integration with whatever else the business runs on like Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress, or a custom checkout.
On deliverability. A client who migrated from HubSpot to ActiveCampaign came to me with a deliverability problem. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC were misconfigured and emails were going to spam. I fixed the authentication, cleaned up the sender reputation, handled the Salesforce integration, and got them back to proper inbox placement. If your open rates have dropped or your emails are landing in spam, that's a fixable problem and I've fixed it before.
On ongoing management. For two years before going freelance I ran email strategy and funnel implementation for a medspa marketing agency in the United Kingdom, managing the automations, sequences, and funnels running across their entire client portfolio. That experience means I'm comfortable inside a system that needs constant tuning, not just one-off setup.
Recent work also includes a media publishing client migrated from Zoho to MailerLite across two WordPress sites with RSS-to-email workflows rebuilt on the new platform, and a UK food and drink company mid-migration from ActiveCampaign to Brevo right now with wholesale data restructured into Brevo's Companies CRM, custom checkout attributes built out, and WooCommerce sync configured.
