I undertook the paid consultation to understand what the freelancer could do for my niche, B2B business. Radhika was top rated as well as mentioned her expertise with B2B business. Since I have been in Marketing for 13+ years, after discussions I realized that she might know the technical know-how of SEO but seems lacking in strategy and will need handholding. It wasn't an issue for my business and my business is niche, so I explained the strategy and asked if she could accomplish it. It took her time to get it but once she did, she confirmed it should work for my business. Then I asked her a detailed proposal on the inclusions including a quick SEO audit. Because if not for that, what was the point of the paid consultation?
She shared a generic proposal with financials but no audit. I agreed to carry it over to the contract we were starting.
But then she handed over my project to someone else without informing me, this person started logging in time while doing non-work related tasks or tasks which were agreed upon. I have left a detailed review under her profile for the same and don't want to get into it here.
In conclusion, I didn't just waste my money with the paid consultation where I ended up explaining the strategy to a clueless freelancer, didn't get the only document I asked for, and in the following hourly contract, freelancer logged in senselessly and got paid for a week that wasn't for me.
