Work with Felicia started out very good, with high communication and lots of excitement. Felicia is very professional and avaialble. She has great ideas and understands her profession while taking the time to highlight the reasoning behind actions in her strategy. We had lots of tasks, including a full blown SEO and marketing strategy and a full remake of our website. Unfortunately, after launch and in the heart of ramping up our marketing, social media, and ads Felicia stopped communication all together and we've had to end our contract to look for other support. While we did spend much more than anticipated for what we see as only a working website and blog posts, we would recommend Felicia for her knowledge and understanding of SEO and marketing. I started my SEO journey in 2009. Therefore, creating SEO optimized content is an automatic habit!
Before I create any form of content, I perform extensive keyword research! I use SEMrush, Google Analytics and other tools to make sure I'm targeting the right audience, while gaining the most exposure.
Once I've got the right keyword(s), I structure my content based on the expected demographic.
By the way, did you realize that none of my paragraphs are long? Well I did this on purpose!
Shorter paragraphs make it easier for readers to digest your content. Most experienced SEO writers got rid of "essay style" content years ago! It's hard to keep readers engaged! Connecting with your audience is more important than "traditional article structure."
If you don't believe me, visit your favorite news site and pay attention to the articles. The paragraphs are short and sweet and the readers love it!
The idea is to keep the reader scrolling! That's why I write content as if I'm having a one-on-one conversation with the reader.
This will keep your website's bounce rate down, and increase on-page time. Google appreciates that and will improve your rank!
Because video content is here to stay, I also create explainer videos to each article that I write! That gives a HUGE advantage over competition! All videos that I create are optimized for not only search engines, but Youtube as well!
