Your raw audio will be fully edited to remove all mistakes and out takes before being fully de-noised to remove unwanted background noise.
The audio will be processed with EQ, DeEssing, Compression and Levelling for smooth, polished and profesional final audio files with consistent volume levels accross the whole audiobook.
The audio will be separated into individual chapters and any intros and outros sections required will be sent as individual files.
The final audio files will be fully ACX compliant, with average RMS Volume levels of between -18 and -23dB, Peak Levels below -3dB, Noise Floor below -60dB and file format of mp3 192kbps.

Sound Engineer Needed for Post-production Documentary Review (Quick Turnaround)
Joe worked on the post-production audio of a short documentary I'd made. From the start, he was clear in communicating how he could improve the overall sound quality of the piece, even whipping up a quick sample edit before the conract was signed, and throughout the process was receptive to my feedback about tweaks and adjustments I wanted to make. When you create something, it's easy to agonise over the smallest of details, and although some of my requests may have been pernicketty, Joe was more than happy to accommodate them.
From a technical perspective, the documentary sounds much better than it did before it passed through Joe's capable hands. The clarity and resonance of the dialogue; the texture of the background sound effects; the mix of music, fx, and VO - all have been greatly improved. Would happily work with him again and would recommend him to anyone looking to hire a sound engineer.
