Hi. My name is Bryan, and I am here to help you understand blues theory.
Do you ever wonder how some people can just improvise on the blues without running out of licks?
In this gig, I will teach you how to do blues improvisation in a melodic way. The lessons that I will give you will not be based on just licks but will be more on scales. Yes, I will teach you standard scales like the major and minor pentatonic and blues scales, but I will also teach more advanced ones. We will be talking about the secret scales you need to know to be able to improvise on blues effectively and authentically.
The advanced scales I'm talking about are not the major scale modes. The advanced scales that I am going to teach are non-linear scales, which means that they have grammar rules just like when you're trying to learn a new language. I will teach you the chord functions and the target notes and microtones in these scales. I will teach you how to phrase and many more.
My lessons are one on one and are conducted in Zoom. After the session, I will send you diagrams, tablatures, and backing tracks, depending on what you need for your homework.

Bryan is a natural team leader and a team player and has proven this, time and again, with his dependability when completing tasks within or even outside his skill-set. He can also work independently (less supervision) and is able to acquire new skills largely on his own. He has a great skill at manipulating large data sets in Excel.
