Long-Term Video Editor for Online Painting Classes
Jason submitted an initial paid test file and included some good elements, including the opening setup, softened side edges, brush/color text boxes, acceptable audio, and ending elements.
However, the test was not completed according to the provided checklist. Important requirements were missing, including step photos placed throughout the partial lesson as student pause points, the tracer overlay at the beginning, pacing adjustments, student-support text boxes, improved text readability, and a full checklist review before resubmission.
I provided clear revision notes before approving the test as complete. Jason said he would revise and get back to me, but the revised file was not submitted by the deadline. When I followed up, he explained that he was having internet issues and later offered for me to take the funds back instead of continuing to wait.
Because partial work was submitted, I allowed a small partial payment and requested the remaining escrow back. Jason was polite when he responded, and I wish him the best moving forward.
