I'll start by using your inspirations and/or references to build the main part of the beat, usually starting with the melodies and chord progression, but depending on what the client wants, i can use other creative means to start building.

When making a beat i always do some kind of arrangement having the client preferences in mind, organizing the verse and hook parts, and maybe adding intro/outro and /or bridges
