For many years I have been communicating in American Sign Language, regularly I give public discourses to large Deaf audiences and use ASL to teach other subjects. I am a fluent signer and regularly associate with Deaf and others fluent in ASL. I also have many years of experience as a tutor and have taken advanced courses in teaching language.
I like to make learning fun. Although structured lessons are important I strive to be flexible and match the learning styles of each student. I have found the best skills in language come through use and practice. It is my goal to help you be able to use the language with confidence.
