I have been working as an English teacher in Germany for 7 years and I have extensive expertise with film editing, including subtitles and closed captions. My translations are into natural English. I do not do 1:1 translations as this does not convey the feeling of the speaker (idioms or slang, for example, do not make sense in an exact translation). I ensure that the timing of the subtitles do not rush the viewer and that the text is comfortable to read.

Submission of a preview
I'll take a section of the video and translate the scene, add the subtitles or captions and then submit the file for review. We can then change fonts or colours or even the tone of the translation.
