• Responsible in preparation of vendor submittals such as Control Panel Layout and Wiring, Loop Drawings, Point to Point Wiring Diagram, System Architecture, Instrument Datasheets, Network and Servers Cabinets layouts.
• Responsible in selection of Hardware and Software of PLC, OIT, HMI, Computers and Servers. Perform PLC and HMI programming, preparation of simulation software, setup and configuration of computers and servers in preparation of Factory Acceptance Test.
• Responsible in ensuring that the hardware and software complies with the specifications by preparing vendor documents such as Factory Test Procedures, Field Test Procedures and Operation and Maintenance Manual and by testing the HMI and PLC programs using simulation software.
• Knowledgeable in hardware and software of different Automation vendors such as Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, General Electric, Motorola and Emerson Ovation.
• Responsible in design of DCS, SIS and FGS by preparing Specifications and Engineering deliverables such as System Architecture, Input/Output List and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram in preparation of Material Requisition and bidding.
• Responsible in preparation of Engineering deliverables used by Automation vendor for programming and configuration such as Logic Diagram, Control Narrative, Cause and Effect Diagram and Range, Alarm and Trip settings.
• Participate in design reviews including P&ID review, HAZOP and SIL/LOPA. Implement safety instrument design as per HAZOP/SIL review reports, performing the calculation of SIL definitions and preparing safety requirement specification.
• Selection, purchasing and supply of pressure, level, temperature, flow, gas detectors and analyzer instruments based on client’s specification. Preparation of Instrument Datasheets using ISA sheet 2006 word format.
• Involved in HVAC, Water, Wastewater, Chemical, LNG and FPSO projects.
• Knowledgeable in 2D Drawings, 3D Drawings and Rendering using AutoCAD 2004/2011 and Microstation 8.1i.
