In the past two years, I have had the opportunity to develop many large projects and I’m currently continuing to develop my own social media start-up, Diariest. Diariest is a social diary application that allows people to create and share diaries under their own profiles, which have unique and specific names (d/example_diary_name). For the back-end of Diariest, we use Java with Netty. To ensure the security of data exchange using sockets, we store Session data using Redis and store data blocks such as Posts, Likes, Comments, and Followers using Cassandra, while storing static data such as user information using PostgreSQL. One of the main reasons for using Cassandra and Spark is to provide a personalized experience for the user through the Discovery algorithm by processing the data.
