Do you have a MySQL database on the cloud or on-premise and are facing frequent database locks, long query times, inconsistent performance, lagging data in your replica, or just want to see whether you can lower your monthly cloud database costs?
I have over 17 years of work experience with database development, optimisation, and data engineering. I have implemented many information systems during that time and the apps dependent on my work required high level of availability and consistent performance. Else, lower performance was lost revenue.
I will evaluate your database config and suggest configuration settings for your work load, analyse your queries to run faster, evaluate your index keys, etc. and generally see whether your database is run optimally. Depending on the front end development software, I may also be able to make performance optimisation suggestions based on how the app consumes the database data.
If you don't want a fixed price or are unsure how much work I may need to do, feel free to propose an hourly contract. I have worked on data optimisation and migration projects on servers up to 64 CPUs, 488GB RAM, 5TB+ storage, and 30+ concurrent connections.
