While I double majored in Finance and Economics, I love learning new things especially when it helps with problem solving. For example, I wanted to be a photgrapher so I taught myself about composition, exposure and the functionality of camera accessories. I also needed a website for my portfolio so I taught myself how to code in CSS, HTML and Java and now I’m currently freelancing as a web developer.
Make no mistake, I love working finance and accounting; however, I am someone who believes that personal growth not only comes from office work but also adventure and surviving hazardous situations. Hence, why I decided to invest the money I was making as an Senior Accounting Associate. And when I made enough, I took some time off to explore the world and accomplish my dream of becoming an adventure photographer.
The details of my experience have helped me massively. Climbing the highest peaks of Central America helped me persevere and develop strength of character. Guiding groups of people through some of the roughest terrains has taught me responsability and leadership skills along with being level headed in stressful situations, especially where panic can result in injuries or worse.
All and all, I enjoy both a challenging enviroment and the relaxing fullfilment that comes with cleaning a Financial Statement of any off balance.
