I am a procurement professional having 6+ years experience in purchasing sector. Currently I am involved in the process of source to pay (S2P) and I purchase assests and services which are related to CAPEX projects.
As sub activities, I arrange Letter of Credits, evaluate suppliers (for selection and post evaluation), track and follow up shipments, make reports, make arrangements for shipment clearances and attend to other matters such as delay penalties, retention releases, performance bond extension and price escalation requests.
Previously, I performed an Import Executive role for a leading company in Sri Lanka who manufactures Refrigerators and Washing Machines. I have participated for supplier meetings, site visits, product development with R&D team besides my main role.
