This project involves creating a customizable budget tracker tailored to the client’s accounting needs. The tracker will categorize incoming and outgoing cash flows, allowing the client to select between cash or accrual accounting methods. Bank transaction data will be uploaded in CSV or Excel format, and transactions will be identified and defined based on the chosen accounting basis. Incoming cash sources include rental income, customer payments, and loans, while outgoing cash sources cover payroll, rent, utilities, and loan payments. The goal is to ensure accurate totals by categorizing and summing the data correctly, providing the client with an efficient way to track their financial performance.
