My name is Fatihah, but you can call me Teha. I'm from Sarawak, the land of Borneo, which is the Eastern part of Malaysia. I'm an undergrad student of Marketing at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak.
A brief tale of my experience:
I took the first step of my freelance journey earlier in 2019 as a part-time Virtual Assistant on Fiverr but I had the breakthrough of my freelance journey as a Virtual Assistant during this lockdown and quarantine period of this global pandemic.
For almost a year now, I have successfully handled a couple of satisfying short-term and long-term clients as a Virtual Assistant on Fiverr and also outside of the platform which helps me to grow my confidence to step further in my freelance career.
I believe I'm a self-motivated, passionate, and hard-working individual, with my skills and "can do, will do" attitude I can offer you to help you with your tasks which would add value to your business.
Besides sitting in front of a laptop working virtually I also have had quite a few years of working experience in some real-life jobs. I worked as a contractual admin assistant for the Ministry of Education Malaysia for seven months and also worked as a substitute teacher at a local school for three months. Amongst all of my previous jobs the one that I have enjoyed the most and had a great experience with a demonstrated history of working, was being a Barista and dealing with a lot of happy customers for more than four years in the field of F&B industry.
My thoughts about Freelancing:
About freelancing the most thing that I started to like is the flexibility and ability to work from my comfort zone. And I believe that being able to work from comfort and also having working flexibility enhanced productivity and increases performance and also brings quality results. In the future, even after my graduation, I would still be wanting to work from home.
