Every day, I step into the world of property management where maintenance requests never stop. Tenants call, emails arrive, appliances fail, and sometimes owners don’t even know there’s a problem until it becomes expensive. My job is to stay ahead of the chaos.
I manage the entire maintenance lifecycle, from the moment a tenant submits a work order to when a vendor completes the repair, the invoice is reviewed, and the tenant confirms satisfaction. I triage requests, troubleshoot issues, and determine the most cost-effective solution, often coordinating with builders, appliance manufacturers, or home warranty providers before dispatching vendors. This ensures owners never pay for something that should be covered.
Coordinating with tenants, vendors, HOAs, and property owners is a daily responsibility, and I make sure communication is clear, timely, and professional. I review vendor quotes for accuracy, approve invoices, track work orders to closure, and follow up until every repair is fully resolved. Nothing slips through the cracks on my watch.
Over the past 6 months, I’ve applied my 4+ years of transferable experience in short-term rentals to long-term residential properties, managing portfolios with over 200 units across North Carolina and Connecticut. From single-family homes to apartment complexes, I ensure work orders are handled efficiently, warranties are checked, and tenants feel supported.
