This contractor didn’t deliver what he promised. He kept telling me that if I paid him more money he could deliver. This person dragged me on by showing me breadcrumbs of results that he promised little by little, then asked me for more money after showed me a little bit of result. He even controlled my Upwork account to leave himself a positive review. The whole thing felt so sketchy. I felt manipulated and lied to. Then one day he just disappeared. Won’t answer calls or messages. Gone. When I went back to Upwork trying to update the fake positive review he left himself, I realized that the review period was over. He timed the whole process perfectly. I did email Upwork about this, but never heard back from Upwork. This is planned and scheduled scam. Everyone be cautious on Upwork.
