Amazon FBA Business Account Development Assistance
I hired this freelancer to manage my Amazon Seller Central account and trusted him with a major investment of over $17,000 in inventory. From the start, he presented himself as knowledgeable and capable of handling listings and optimizing my store for sales. Based on his guidance, I purchased a large amount of inventory, expecting it to be properly listed and managed.
After the products arrived, I discovered that the listing was placed under a “needs approval” or restricted listing, which I was not warned about beforehand. This left me with a warehouse full of unsellable merchandise. When I asked him for solutions, communication quickly deteriorated. He quit the project immediately after the purchase, stopped responding to all messages, and abandoned me completely.
To make matters worse, it appears he may have transferred or misused my listings for his own benefit or someone else’s, leaving me unable to sell my products through my own account. This was not a simple mistake — it was a serious breach of trust, resulting in massive financial loss and wasted time.
Throughout this experience, his lack of professionalism, refusal to communicate, and complete disappearance indicated he may have acted in bad faith. My business was put at serious risk, and I was left scrambling to find a solution. This experience was extremely stressful and costly.
I strongly urge Upwork to investigate this freelancer’s activity. Clients should be cautious when hiring him, and I hope this review helps others avoid a similar situation.
