We are seeking a skilled Dental Virtual Assistant / Remote Dental Assistant to handle accurate dental insurance verification and provide a complete breakdown of benefits (BOB). Responsibilities include verifying dental benefits, checking eligibility, frequency limitations, waiting periods, maximums, co-pays, and reviewing in-network/out-of-network coverage. The role also involves claims follow-up, dispute claims, managing patient charts, and maintaining accurate billing records using Open Dental and other dental practice management software.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with dental insurance claims processing, knowledge of dental terminology and procedures, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Must be able to work independently, maintain patient confidentiality, and be available during standard business hours (8am–4pm Central).
This is an ongoing remote position supporting front office operations, benefit plan creation, and claims requiring additional information, ensuring practices reduce denials, improve collections, and enhance patient satisfaction.
