First thing first.. To avoid denials and late payment process, before charge entry we thoroughly check patients eligibility. EOB status, with primary and secondary insurances, we confirm patient plans ( HMO, PPO, IPA etc).
Charge Entry
While Charge Entry we keep no efforts in checking if ICD 10 codes, CPTs, and modifiers are correct and matchable. If there is any payable dx/CPT missing in super bills we inform providers before submitting the claims.
