I know this first hand, I didn't just read about startups or support them from the sidelines after going to get a higher education degree. I spent over six years building and scaling my own home healthcare business from scratch with an incredible partner who taught me so much about business and how to be authentic in business. In the end, I had a team of 75 staff, developed all the internal systems myself, managed most of the day to day operations myself and made them automated by the time I left so teh coordinator had an easy time transitioning into the role, and I had to figure things out the hard way... alone, when no one else could! That journey taught me more than just ops and admin - it taught me that core of what founders really need.
