Project details
• Creation & submission of insurance claims after necessary verifications (i.e., eligibility verification, authorization check) to Medicare, Medicaid, and other private insurance carriers.
• Assure accuracy of data for complete medical billing processes.
• Posting payments (ERA/EOBs) and fixing rejections/denials.
• Follow up on submitted claims.
• Obtaining authorizations (If required).
• Working on rejections/denials.
• Analysis of accounts receivable reports & ‘Month to Date” collections.
• Verification of patient statements (after posting patient payments and allocation of balances from unapplied).
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing issues and statement problems.
• Working on paper claims (HCFAs).
• Preparation of problem list requiring necessary information regarding patient’s demographics or insurance information.
• Appeals (If due to any reason, the claim is passed a timely filing limit or denied requiring appeal, then we’ll proceed as per the carrier’s requirement and submit appeal accordingly.
• We’ll also proceed if the provider’s enrollment is required with any specific carrier.
