I hired Rukhsana for a flat-rate project after extensive discussions regarding the scope of work and my expectations. I provided detailed written instructions, examples, and multiple follow-up emails outlining exactly what was to be included.
Unfortunately, throughout the project, I repeatedly encountered the same issue: the agreed-upon scope was not being followed. Major sections and deliverables that were discussed from the beginning were either missing, incomplete, or required me to continuously point back to prior emails to show that they had already been requested. Nothing I was asking for was new—it was part of the original project and clearly documented multiple times.
I spent a significant amount of time reviewing drafts, providing detailed feedback, and clarifying expectations, only to find myself revisiting the same issues repeatedly. It became frustrating to constantly explain that the requested revisions were not changes to the project but items that were already included in the original scope.
Communication remained professional, but there seemed to be a disconnect between the instructions provided and the work being delivered. Ultimately, rather than completing the project as agreed, I was informed that she no longer wished to continue working on it.
I appreciate the effort that was put into the work that was completed, which is why I am not leaving a 1-star review. However, based on my experience, there were significant issues with following instructions, attention to detail, and completion of the agreed scope of work. For those reasons, I can only give 2 stars.
