Create project plan & milestones — Break work into clear milestones (e.g., sample deliverable, bulk work, QA, handoff) so you can track progress and approve along the way.
Prepare workspace & templates — Set up the Excel/Google Sheets or tool structure, dropdowns, naming conventions and a short README so outputs are consistent and easy to use.
Run a sample / pilot — Complete a small sample (1–5% or one record) and share it for your approval before proceeding with the full job.
Bulk data work / execution — Perform the main data entry/research/cleanup following agreed rules and the approved sample. I’ll work in logical batches and update the milestone status as each batch finishes.
Quality control & reconciliation — Run validation checks (duplicates, formatting, formulas, reconciliations), fix errors, and document what was changed.
Review & client feedback — Share the completed files with notes on any assumptions and ask for your feedback; implement up to agreed revisions quickly.
Final delivery & handoff — Provide final files (Excel/CSV/Google Sheets), a short user guide,
Post-delivery support — I remain available for a short period to fix any small issues
