Before I landed in coaching and consulting, I spent over 16 years in the social good/nonprofit sector in business development and fundraising. I always found myself in brand new roles or in positions where I had to create something from scratch and establish the blueprint. Some found that to be a terrifying concept but I found it to be exciting and my total joy space. However, creating new blueprints, bringing new ideas to life, and mobilizing new processes also meant overcoming internal roadblocks. Some small, and some extraordinary. Whether it was creating internal culture shifts, navigating tough dynamics, or challenging old ways of doing things, I was always the “way seer” and change agent. Through creativity and innovation, I’ve been able to develop strategies to navigate roadblocks and help others achieve exceptional revenue growth (raising $25M personally and $250M collectively).
When I finally took the leap a few years ago to start consulting independently, I quickly learned that leaders and teams in every industry struggled with the same roadblocks that I had seen throughout my career. They want to see revenue growth and sustain their work yet they get stuck in the process of getting there. And then I thought: What if we could help people unleash their own creativity and innovation? What if more leaders and teams were able to honor their vision and rally the support to bring it to life?
