I’m a cognitive neuroscientist with 15+ years of experience. The complexities of the mind and brain have always enraptured me. I have studied how the brains of people with high psychopathic traits are different. Questions like, “Does having a broken, psychopathic brain make you more or less guilty of a crime?” have filled my days. As digital health technologies have taken off (i.e wearables, apps), I have anticipated the long-awaited arrival of comprehensive healthcare (and done studies to see how to implement this), tempered by the terrors of digital surveillance. And behind all that, the mysteries of life and consciousness have dominated my, well, consciousness. I have wide knowledge of theories of the universe/reality, as well as the effects of spiritual practices (e.g. meditation) and psychedelics. I promise we’ll have really interesting conversations.
