About Chivas
Chivas Ayroso's Biography
Quezon City, Philippines - 8:00 am local time
Chivas Ayroso is a Gerry Roxas Leadership Awardee, Sikhay Awards Community Service Project One of the Best Implementers in the Philippines and Rotary International District 3780 Most Outstanding RYLA 2020 Delegate. He graduated in Rotary International Leadership Academy in 2019 and 2020. He is also a graduate of Climate Reality Project 2020 and Global Institute for Youth Development Sustainable Development Goals.
Mr. Ayroso is currently serving an Environment and Natural Resources Ambassador in Department of Environment and Natural Resources- National Capital Region.
Prior to that he also served as three-time Editor in Chief in his former school. He also worked as a Managing Editor in an academic paper publishing office. Currently, he serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Invisible Earth Magazine which are available in Colombia, India, Ireland and Hongkong.
While taking his Bachelor's Degree in International Studies, he has been a regular trainor and resource person in Climate-related events, Environmental Activism, Journalism and Sustainable Development Goals. He is the conference speaker and chairman for the 2019 South Africa Congress for Sustainable Development Goals.
He's currently working with University of Miami Eco Representatives as Project Consultant as well as in the Environment and Natural Resources Organization in Tortuga, Puerto Rico. Locally, he is a mentor in different fields; journalism, sciences, climate activism and actions and studies related to environment and social sciences. Previously, he served as a mentor in SEED4COM 6th Eco-Leaders Booth Camp.
Chivas is also a Rotary International Youth Service Chairman in his chapter. President of Rotaract Club of Greenfields.
He is also the man behind the Global Action theme this year for his contributions as President and CEO of Global Action Bridging Aspiring Youth, which advocates youth empowerment, environmental activism, climate awareness and community services.
