Project details

As ex-bankers, we've seen our share of unconvincing business plans. We've shot them down personally, and we will often say no to client projects that are so badly flawed, any money spent on a business plan would be a waste of time (50% of projects+). The typical business plan is neither convincing nor compelling. It's a "go through the hoops" exercise. They are cookie-cutter affairs filled with the same tired, template-driven drivel (SWOT, etc) that everyone else uses. If you want that, please don't hire us. We fixate on business plans that drive into substantial detail on the most difficult-to-obtain sections that are actually convincing to investors and banks.

Experienced Accountant Needed for Dealership Financial Management Peter was helpful to work with and brought a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to our dealership accounting and financial management needs. Our business has a lot of moving parts, and Peter took the time to understand the way our dealership operates, the systems we use, and the areas where we needed support.

I also appreciated the involvement of Abisola throughout the process. Together, they were professional, responsive, and willing to work through a variety of accounting, reporting, and operational questions as they came up. They helped us think through details, stay more organized, and address items that required careful attention.

Peter showed a strong commitment to quality and made a genuine effort to provide support that was useful for our business. He communicated clearly, followed through on the work, and approached the project with patience and professionalism. I appreciated his willingness to collaborate, ask questions, and help us work through the practical realities of managing dealership financials.

Overall, I’m grateful for the time, effort, and care Peter and Abisola put into the project. I wish them both continued success and believe future clients will appreciate their professionalism, communication, and commitment to doing quality work.

Are your books a mess, your reports unreliable, or your financial decisions based on gut feel instead of data? I specialize in transforming financial chaos into clarity - cleaning up your books, optimizing your operations, and giving you the insights needed to scale with confidence.

With over 6 years of hands-on experience as a Fractional CFO and Controller, combined with a business banking background (RBC, HSBC), I’ve partnered with dozens of growing businesses - especially in wholesale, e-commerce, professional services, inventory-based, and consumer goods sectors - to rebuild their accounting foundations from the ground up. Whether I’m untangling years of unreconciled transactions, correcting mis-posted entries, or creating robust standard operating procedures (SOPs) and SLAs to eliminate costly errors, I don’t just patch problems, I eliminate them at the root.

Once your financials are reliable and audit-ready (think 100% receipt and invoice attachment, clean starting balances, and separation of business vs other entity or personal transactions), I guide you into advanced FP&A: monthly accruals, budgeting, forecasting, valuation, and performance analytics. I help you integrate operational, sales, and marketing data into your forecasts so your business intelligence matures alongside your financial discipline.

The result? Lower forecast variance, smarter decision-making, and a business that’s truly investor- and exit-ready.

Clients often say working with me is like “finally having a grown-up in the room.”

One e-commerce founder told me, “You saved our company $140k in missed COGS entries in the first 60 days. We went from not trusting our numbers to using them to make pricing and hiring decisions.”

From ERP selection to automation (Zoho, MS Dynamics, Power BI, ChatGPT / CoPilot, QBO, Xero), strategic decision modelling, pricing analysis, or HR policy support - I'm your finance operations partner. Let’s bring order, insight, and strategy to your business.

Steps for completing your project

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Peter can start the project.

Delivery time starts when Peter receives requirements from you.

Peter works on your project following the steps below.

Revisions may occur after the delivery date.

Step 1. We interview you and make sure the client/consultant fit is good

We don't want to come across as jerks, but just as clients are selective with who they should hire, we're also selective about who we work with. We want to get a sense of your preparedness as a manager and overall seriousness.

Step 2. We review the end goal in detail and make sure we are in alignment

We begin with the end in mind always. We don't want surprises or changes at the last minute. We review our service level agreement.

Review the work, release payment, and leave feedback to Peter.
