• Founding a Digital HR consultancy called Nextus Hub;
• Co-Founded the 1st African EX awards;
• Nominated as part of the Global Future of Work Pioneers Ambassador Program, through Experfy, 2020;
• Received a bursary through the UK/SA Tech Hub to complete an entrepreneurial program that focuses on empowering women in SA in Technology;
• Received an award for my National Research Project for Qatar’s Career Awareness and Development for educational institutions to adjust and align National policy and curriculum to meet their National 2030 goals.
Over the years, I have seen how organisations have fallen into the technology trap of merely implementing technology and digital solutions that replicate the old ways of working and have no consideration of its people, with little to no success in generating sustainable business value.
Technological advances and 4IR have redefined the way we work, offering new avenues to create value for our organisations. However, technology alone is not enough to turn opportunities into results.
The Employee Experience now plays a significant role in the success or failure of an organisation’s digital transformation. Using the experience as a lens, I identify pain points within the employee journey that are valuable cues to improve the business.
Organisations of the future need a new breed of HR. I offer a hybrid style, where I can work comfortably alongside both HR and IT to bring about new proactive change that can meet workplaces evolving needs. I understand the HR and IT ecosystems.
Currently, I am focusing on Future of Work trends that can transform companies’ Employee Experiences, focused around culture, technology and workspaces, when designing new experiences, solutions and capabilities in partnership with employees.
