Here's how best to protect the profit on your construction project:
When problems arise on any construction project, you are required by almost every written contract, to notify your client. You must do this prior to doing any additional work, even if the client's project manager or superintendent told you to go ahead and do the work.
Your contract likely tells you that if you do any extra work without first notifying the client, you will not get paid. We'll have a short Zoom meeting where you describe to me, in your own words, what the issue is and what you believe needs to be done by the project owner or construction manager
