I get started with initial setups like financial setting, business type, registration number, business id, etc. Then I will move on to setting up the Chart of Accounts, though there are a list of accounts heads in every accounting software but it don't suit each business needs, for that I customize the chart of account according to business specific needs. Onc done with charts of account, I will move on to bringing in the account opening balances, if the business has already been painting books. Will then list all the names of customers and vendors to make the bookkeeping process smoother.
If your business is an inventory-based business, I will create the list of products and services in the software in order to track the inventory and cost of sales. After that, I will bring in the bank transactions if there are any.
