I have 9 years of implementation and service start-up experience and have been working side-by-side with each business to maintain their accounts receivable and accounts payable with ease and I plan to execute this project in following steps:

eCommerce Bookkeeper on Finaloop Platform / Accrual Basis (Part-Time)
I hired Fozia for ecommerce bookkeeping. Early on, I asked her to consolidate our ecommerce books (which were already 100% completed) into our parent company books and to audit the parent company books (only about 200-500 transactions per year). That turned into a complete nightmare that has stretched on for over two months.
After supposedly completing the consolidation and audit of the parent company's books (logging hundreds of billable hours), both the P&Ls and balance sheets were riddled with fundamental errors. She did not understand the fundamental relationship between a disregarded LLC and its parent corporation. Intercompany transactions were logged as distributions, etc. It's clear she does not know how to do bookkeeping consolidation or how to handle company equity.
The P&L showed completely wrong profit figures and misclassified expenses. On the balance sheet, distributions were scattered across the wrong accounts, pre-conversion retained earnings weren’t frozen, AAA was totally mishandled, and even intercompany adjustments were dumped into equity.
Instead of asking questions, she kept delivering more and more muddled reports. Even after I gave her step-by-step instructions (sometimes repeating myself 5-6 times), the same errors persisted or new ones were created.
After nearly 200 hours billed, I still do not have reliable, tax-ready financials — and she never even got to the ecommerce bookkeeping I originally hired her for.
While this is partly my fault for expanding the scope of work after hiring, Fozia never once admitted that she didn’t understand something or couldn't handle something.
This engagement was extremely costly and unproductive for my small business. I cannot trust any of the reports produced. While she was always polite and her availability was great, I strongly caution against hiring this freelancer for bookkeeping, consolidation, or equity work due to lack of required skills.
